Launching Nginx Proxy Manager (NPM)
Because IPv4 addresses are scarce and costly, FOSSVPS have been promoting NAT and IPv6 access. Of course the problem with NAT is how you can run an IPv4 web service if users can't access port 80 or 443 on your VPS.
Well you could use direct IPv6 access instead, but not everyone uses IPv6, or use Cloudflare and lock your domain into their ecosystem.
Well now you can use our specially built Nginx Proxy Manager (NPM). I know it sounds complicated but it really is quite simple to use.
If your VPS is running a web server then it would need a domain name and IP address. When you setup DNS for the domain, you point the A record (or CNAME) to our NPM IP address. In NPM you add the domain name and specify the port (normally 80 / 443) on your VPS. Now whenever someone requests your domain, it goes to NPM which sends it to your VPS.
To access NPM you must be a NAT user (not have a static v4 address) and your original VPS containing your password and node:
us1 = 104.168.113.214
buc1 = 162.254.84.241
mol1 = 176.123.6.17
NPM v4 address match the node IP address.
So if you are on us1, you would access NPM at https://npm.us1.fossvps.org and set your DNS to point to 104.168.113.214
