FOSSVPS
Free Open Source Software Virtual Private Server (FOSSVPS) was conceived in August 2025 by Not_Oles (Tom) a very well known figure on LET and LES.
Its purpose to provide free virtual private servers ("VPSes") to friendly and helpful members of Low End Talk, Low End Spirit, and Nodeseek.
In October 2025 Tom asked msatt (Mike) if he would like to take the servers and install Proxmox on them to make configuration
and building more streamlined.

To obtain a free server ideally you should
Be developing Open Source Software.
Have a good reputation on the forums. If you are unknown how can we trust you?
The basic rules are
Free and open source software developers only.
White hat only.
Not for commercial use.
No service level agreement but we are pretty good.
Ephemeral. Could disappear at any moment!
Don't be a dick rules
No excessive high cpu, disk or bandwidth
